Ministries at Grace

"The ministries of Grace are designed to help you grow in your relationship with Christ"

SMALL GROUPS

God never intended for us to face life alone.  We are designed us to share our lives in Christ together, but such meaningful relationships don’t just happen; they take effort.  Where do we begin such a process?  At Grace we invite you to begin through our small Bible study groups where we have seen God  knit His Body together in meaningful relationships.   What better place to build friendships than gathered around the scriptures and before the Lord in prayer seeking His direction and mercy together?  A current list of groups is in the bulletin each week.  Call and talk to some of the group leaders, and join a group.

We are eager to include you!

WOMEN’S MINISTRIES

Our women’s ministry seeks to lead women to embrace the supremacy of God in all areas of their lives as they find their satisfaction in their all-sufficient Savior and to spread this passion through loving service in their homes, church and beyond.  We have Bible studies, a lovely annual tea and our much anticipated retreat.

MEN’S MINISTRIES

Men’s ministries is dedicated to fostering and encouraging a deeper relationship with other men in  the body of Christ.  Our goal is to build one another up in Christ and to bring glory to God in our lives.  We have weekly small groups that meet in the mornings and evenings.  Check the bulletin for specifics.  We also sponsor prayer breakfasts, sports nights, a men’s rally and  retreats throughout the year.  Pastor Scott teaches a DTP (Discipleship Training Program) that runs about six months.  This is a fabulous class that changes men’s lives.  Don’t miss it.

MUSIC & WORSHIP

It is our heart’s desire to worship the Lord joyfully and thankfully through our music and worship experience each week.  Sunday morning/evening music, special music, and concerts at Easter and Christmas are all opportunities for you to join us.

COUNSELING

The Bible says that it gives “us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us”  2 Peter 1:3.  This means that the scriptures speak to every situation that we face today!   It is our privilege to offer you comfort and direction from the scriptures when you are seeking answers or want to be sure that you are dealing with a situation Biblically. Contact the church office to set up an appointment with one of the pastors.

MISSIONS

In fulfillment of the Lord's commands (Matthew 28:16 ff), we desire to participate in the work of discipling all nations through missions.   A list of our missionaries is in the church foyer.  We are committed to missions for two purposes, the advancement of the gospel and the training of believers for the continued work of the gospel.  Our priorities when selecting missionaries are

Our goal is to provide substantial support to our missionaries so they are free to serve.

We place a high value on those faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

We believe those who live in a culture are best able to communicate the Gospel in that culture, so we look for nationals.

Our leadership regularly travel and teach on the mission field.  We encourage and recruit our own members to visit and serve on the mission field as well.

How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed?

How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard?

And how will they hear without a preacher?

Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things.”  Romans 10:14,15
